Lipolysis

Lipolysis

Mesotherapy is often combined with Lipolysis to achieve more intense local fat loss on the legs (Riding Pants), abdomen, hips or upper arms, as well as the face (Hamster cheeks or double chin). To do this, inject directly into the fatty connective tissue, that is, the puncture depth is significantly lower for Lipolysis, as opposed to otherwise very superficial treatment in mesotherapy.

The water-soluble active substance Phosphatidylcholine (PPC) is used, a natural Lecithin also present in the body, and Deoxycholate, a bile acid that dissolves fats and turns them into a degradable form. The active ingredients also contribute to Tightening the skin in the treated area. Fat deposits are set in motion and excreted naturally. In this way, a maximum of 1 cm of fat can be melted per treatment. Along with skin tightening, there is usually an impressive aesthetic improvement after about 6 weeks. The success of the treatment depends on the structure of the connective tissue and the area being treated, the global success rate is about 80 percent according to network research.

Due to the long-lasting effect, the interval between sessions should be between six and eight weeks. In addition, when using PPC, local irritation should always be expected due to the active ingredient, such as pain, redness, swelling, Itching or hematoma. Most of the symptoms disappear after three days. Less commonly, women have long-term sensitivity to touch, knot or dents formation, diarrhea or cycle disorders. An initial dose not exceeding 50 ml should not be exceeded, otherwise systemic side effects may be expected (dehydration of the body, circulatory disorders).

It is not treated while taking anticoagulants or during pregnancy. General overweight or even larger fat deposits in many different areas are not suitable for this procedure, and dietary and sports measures are necessary in terms of lifestyle change.
