Information About Mesotherapy

Information about mesotherapy

In mesotherapy, individually collected medicines and active ingredients are injected directly into the skin in the treated area using thin, short needles or a special Mesotherapy Gun. The minimally invasive method combines the basics of Acupuncture, neural therapy, drug therapy and uses the reflexology principle. Due to its mode of action, it is particularly gentle and is used in various acute and chronic diseases and aesthetic medicine.

Mode of action
The effect of mesotherapy is based on the targeted local application of various active ingredients and the stimulating physical effect of needling. Micro injections are made at specific acupuncture and reaction points. This creates a skin deposit with slowly released active ingredients that provide a fast and at the same time lasting effect. Injection is a separate combination of various medicines, vitamins, homeopathic and herbal remedies that strengthen and complement each other. Due to the enhanced effect and local application, the amounts of active ingredients used remain extremely low. Stings, just a few millimeters deep, regulate defense by modulating the skin's immune cells. They increase blood circulation and oxygen supply to the connective tissue, tissues are stimulated, endorphins and anti-inflammatory substances are released.

By stimulating microcirculation and diffusion processes, substances enter directly into the diseased area and deeper structures such as muscles and tissues, but barely enter the bloodstream. This makes Mesotherapy particularly gentle, as already small doses do not strain the organism unnecessarily. When used correctly, it can only be done by trained doctors or healers, the treatment shows almost no side effects or complications and is also suitable for children and pregnant women.

Young discipline from France
Mesotherapy was invented by the French physician Michel Pistor (1924 - 2003) and was first mentioned in 1958. Since then, the method has proven itself worldwide and has been further developed and perfected by the scientific network of individual National Mesotherapy societies.

The word meso (Greek: middle) is related to Mesoderm, which appears as the middle germ layer in the third week of human development and where the skin and connective tissue develop, which is the purpose of Mesotherapy. Therefore, we can also talk about matrix therapy, that is, regulatory effects on the targeted local and general system are achieved.
